Cine Concepto – México

We had the chance to work with the Mexican Production Company Cine Concepto in the new regional spot for ING-SURA. The job consisted of various time-lapse settings all over town, as well as different shoot situations using peruvian talent. Locations included the historic district in Lima, the San Isidro financial district, as well as different beauty shots of Miraflores and the Costa Verde coastline. For this shoot we also did some helicopter aerial shots of the skyscrapers as well as some beauty shots of the main attractions in town. Everything was shot using the ARRI Alexa camera with UltraPrime lenses and a Optimo Zoom.

LMGA – Peru Famtrip

We had the chance to participate a famtrip organized by Peru’s promotion board PromPeru. In 12 days we covered a lot of different locations in the coast, sierra and jungle regions of Peru. Visitors included Lori Balton (LMGA President), Stuart Barter (Veteran Location Scout), Jose Ludlow (Line Producer), and Karen Watts (Shoot Latin America.) Even though it was an exhausting trip, everybody enjoyed it and were amazed by the variety of locations.

Canal 2 Frecuencia Latina – HDTV Launch

For the launch of its HD programming, Channel 2 – Frecuencia Latina produced a spot featuring some of its news talent.

Shot at the “Siberia” building inside the military school “Leoncio Prado,” we did all the special effects work for it.

Work included firearm control, bullets, ricochets, and a major explosion from inside the building.

We also did the body harness effects for the martial arts scene.

History Channel – Inca Experience

We shot nine weeks across all of Peru for the upcoming History Channel program called “Experiencia Inca” (Inca Experience.) We drove from Peru to Bolivia to Ecuador, covering the most important Inca and Pre-Incan ruins. We shot aerial, ocean, and river shots across deserts, jungles and high sierra.

Locations included:

Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo, Pisac, Nazca Lines, Manu National Reserve, Tiahuanaco, Pachacamac, Caral, Chavin de Huantar, Kuelap, among others.

Shakeology

This is a video we shot for shakeology, a nutrition company which develops a super nutritious shake. We shot in the coastal city of Lima, as well as the jungle city of Tarapoto, and the high sierra region of Junin.

Locations included industrial plants and markets in Lima, Sacha Inchi fields and processing plants in Tarapoto, and Maca plantations in Junin.

Shakeology in Peru

Glamour Photoshoot

We gave production support to a team shooting for the magazine Glamour.

We were their local production liason in Cusco, including the locations of Chincheros, Machu Picchu, and the Hiram Bingham train. The model was Cato Van Ee, Photographer Paul Bellaart, Styling Jetteke Van Lexmond, Producer Mila Obando de Falla.

Das Traumschiff – ZDF Germany

The series from ZDF Germany, about a cruise ship that travels to places around the world, debuted in 1981 and became one of the most-watched television shows in Germany. A 2007 Variety article described the series as a ‘”Love Boat“-like.

For this project we were in charge of doing the customs clearance of the 5000kg of equipment brought by the German film team. We cleared customs in two days and then re-routed the equipment to the city of Cusco. Afterwards we picked up the equipment from Puno and took it to the customs in Lima. From here it departed to two different destinations to continue working.
